Monday’s Exercise: Leadership

Share

Below is an “email” I gave to our men’s group to answer. This is a good test. Answer the email thoroughly, then have a leader assess your answer. Enjoy.

Hey Brother,

Thank you again for your help and direction to my friend Ted and getting him into a church. He suggested I reach out to you on an issue.

I’ve been attending a church for a while now, going to a Bible Study and this Sunday they announced two men to be elders. They said if I have any issues to raise them. I’m not sure why? What should I look for in an elder? One man has a divorce 30 years ago. Should that concern me?

Also, I started attending our Bible Studies, I’ve been to four of them and I’d like to teach. What should I do?

Thanks,

Mr. Cooper
